English Premier League 2024-25

2024-2025 EPL Preview

Man City have set another record with 115 charges of financial shenanigans and also managed to win a 4th PL title in a row becoming the first team to do so narrowly beating out arsenal who took it to the last day this year. They accomplished this by rattling off an absurd 33 games unbeaten in all competitions making it 6 titles in 7 years for the Citizens.

Some pictures from the aftermath:

Season Preview:
Man City and Arsenal have distanced themselves as the clear favorites for the title. With Arsenal closing the gap and beating Man City on xG could this be the year that they get over the line? There are some large error bars on Liverpool with klopp retiring and Salah getting older, will they be able to insert themselves in the title race again like they did last year?

For top 4/5 can Aston Villa repeat last years feat thanks to the normal culprits being completely incompetent or will one of Chelsea/United get their **** together finally (hopefully not)? Spurs went full Spurs throwing the match vs City to stop arsenal from winning the title while costing themselves top 4 in the process, will they be in the race again despite doing no business at all in the summer to address squad needs?

The relegation fight as usual has the 3 promoted teams as favorites to go back down, but with PSR looming in the background could we see a surprise team relegated?

Remind me how much he gets paid if he gets the chop?

17mil was the figure being mentioned. What a life.

If ETH can tread the same line he trod last season where he never won enough games to be considered anything but dreadful but didn’t lose enough to be sacked it’ll be remarkable.

lmao Chelsea

Chelsea have played super well this game like most of this season (and last), find themselves behind lololol

The JWP sending off is a thing of beauty, absolute LOL.

Surely Emery needs to throw this for the greater good

Poetic cinema. Although I gotta admit thought it was going to be a straight red. Jackson seemed clean through

Said exactly this to my missus and mother in law (in fact my MIL said it first). Makes no difference though as not violent conduct so only a one game ban in either case (stupid rule but whatever).

Fight fight fight

The Chelsea-Forest game ending is pure chaos

A gutsy nil nil defensive masterclass.

What a **** game that was, Jonny Evans motm says it all

SSL denied by offside lol

1-0 in a sec anyway

Brennan Johnson with 6 in 6 how is this real life.

Great ball from Solanke too

I’m very thankful that my plan to not wake up at 6am was proven right. Caught the last 25 minutes and I didn’t miss a single thing.

Ten Hag really is a dead man walking. I don’t know who will be next, I just know I don’t want Southgate and Tuchel will find a way to get himself sacked within 18-24 months. Past that, I have zero thoughts on who the next manager of United will be

What a terrible goal to concede, no way he should have been able to get a shot away there

lol Spuds

Amazing scenes. Would have never expected this, Brighton were nowhere

Ange did say he wanted to entertain us in the pre match interview with sky
