**** 2024 Season-Long NFL PEEHS! ****
Hello again, football fans!
It’s that time of year again! The premier, flagship contest of SE, Season-Long NFL PEEHS, is returning for its 12th season, the second under my stewardship. When Kris ran this contest, I always appreciated how much fun it was, and how it brought this diverse little community of football fans together. With his blessing, I’ll be running it again, for hopefully the best installment yet!
But I may need help. I work, and it’s a long season through the holidays, and I know I won’t be available for the Thanksgiving reveals. I’d like for last year’s go-to guest revealer Rawlz517 to be able to step in, if he’s available, or I’ll take any volunteers if he’s not. If schedules change, we’ll play it by ear.
I’ve never played PEEHS before, what is it?
PEEHS is basically a fun, free NFL football futures contest. You make an entry by giving answers to the 25 questions before the season starts, and I reveal the answers once a week as the season goes along. For every question, your answer will either be CORRECT, or INCORRECT.
If your answer is CORRECT, your score for that question will simply be the number of people who selected your same correct answer. If you’re the only person to select your correct answer, that’s an ACE! …and your score for that question is 1.
If your answer is INCORRECT, then your score for that question is the number of people who picked the SHEEP answer (most popular answer), plus the number of different correct answers submitted for that question. The SHEEP (most popular answer) can be either correct or incorrect; all that matters is the number of people who selected the SHEEP.
Therefore it’s most important to be CORRECT in all your answers, but also be among the fewest participants that select your correct answers.
Scores add up per question over the season. Lowest score wins.
Our reigning 2023 Champion is pwnsall!
How do I enter?
Anyone can enter by sending me a single-spaced, non-numbered PM with your answers. Please correctly spell first AND last names for player names, and just use mascots for team names.
Since we get questions on this every year...

Good luck and let us football!!!
Our next corrects are a pair of 6-point answers. The aforementioned New York Jets looked to make a statement in Week 1, but were comfortably handled by the 49ers.

Also played by 6 players, our next correct is the Los Angeles Rams. They had chances to win in Detroit, but lost on Sunday night. At least Cooper Kupp had a good day for my fantasy team!

Our next corrects are a pair of 4 point answers. The Washington Commanders ran around and did stuff, but couldn't get the dub in Tampa.

Also played by 4 contestants, our next correct answer is the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was all going so well, until a perfectly executed Peanut Punch caused Travis Etienne to fumble into the end zone, and the Jags lost to Miami.

Next up, we have a pair of 3-point answers. The Cleveland Browns' defense notably plays better at home, but Deshaun's poor play cost them the game against the Cowboys.

Also played by 3 players, our next correct is the Green Bay Packers. Losing the opener to start the season is rough, but even rougher is the injury to their freshly paid quarterback. Hopefully he'll only be out a few weeks. Just goes to show exactly why NFL players want to get that bag as soon as they possibly can.

Our next correct is a 2-point answer. My terrible Atlanta Falcons had their ass handed to them by a ferocious Steelers pass rush, led by noted game-wrecker TJ Watt. Our offensive line is supposed to be one of the better groups in the league. It doesn't get any easier, as they head to Philly next Monday night, then welcome the Chiefs the following Sunday night.

Question 1 closes with one lone ace. The Baltimore Ravens opened the season in Kansas City, and the result was the same as how their season ended last year. If only Isaiah Likely could have come down in bounds! We were denied the John Harbaugh special: going for 2 for the walk-off win.

With a SHEEP score of 10, plus 9 different corrects submitted, the incorrects will receive a score of 19.
Closing out the incorrects, we have the would-be ace hunters.
The San Francisco 49ers cruised to a victory over the Jets on Monday night.

The Dallas Cowboys had a tough test on the road in Cleveland, but Deshaun Watson was so bad, they had very little trouble securing the win.

Death, taxes, and Needle picking with his big Jacksonville heart! Our final incorrect is the Miami Dolphins, who came back to win over the Jags.

I'd be remiss if I didn't point out I also Ace'd my incorrect answer, but I won't say it just yet in case I somehow misunderstood the rules. Given that I'm not listen anywhere tho, I'm guessing I just got missed.
YES thank you!
I was counting up entries and missed yours, and have spent the last 30 minutes staring at it trying to figure where I got it wrong.
RT selected the Detroit Lions, who are incorrect.
That makes 9 total incorrect answers, and 39 correct answers for this question.
A thousand apologies for missing you in the reveal there, RT! I've got your entry and you WILL be counted.
Here are the scores after the first question!
Names in bold have a perfect game going.
That's all for this week!
We'll see who's still undefeated after this weekend, and we'll have the Question 2 Reveal probably Tuesday, maybe Wednesday.
Good news...I'm still live for Q2...for about a day or two.
Our most popular incorrect answer was played by 3 players. The New Orleans Saints absolutely romped in a dominating victory at home against the hapless Panthers.
Sorry heels!

Please let me know which other questions I am the same as heels on so I can plan to be incorrect for them.
I thought for sure I’d be the only one to select the Panthers lol.
Wasn't expecting so many people to have faith in the Chargers

1. Chargers
32. Chargers
etc etc
Not a great start
I look like a genius for one week!!
I may look like a genius for a couple weeks before it all unravels
Unfortunately, my Q2 pick can't beat Sam Darnold, but on the bright side I've hit three other answers this week. So I got that going for me which is nice.
Who's here? It's time for the Question 2 Reveal!
2. Name a team that will be undefeated at the end of Week 2.
For this question, we had 22 correct answers, and 26 incorrect answers.
We'll start by reviewing the incorrects first.
