It's all based in SCIENCE: the side with Heads is the heavier side so on average it is not a TRUE 50-50 proposition to go with Heads as the heavier side will be facedown more often, ergo TAILS NEVER ****ING FAILS.
You are assuming the NFL uses a normal quarter. I would imagine the coin is weighted equally without any extrusions that could also affect the rotation.
