For anyone wondering the 2 horses I put up in the vote didn't win, sixandahalf ran a couple hours ago went 1.04 in running and somehow lost finishing 2nd :(

Can someone explain this combination of odds on NCAA men's tournament to me (odds from oddschecker.com):
Outright winner:
Duke +1000, Auburn +550
To win their region:
Duke (East) -120, Auburn (South) +110
Winning region:
East +250, South +275
I propose to take South +275 based on the above.
Our numbers for the MM square is 0 for the losing team, 5 for the winning team.
I hope that comes through a LOT as Bidz and I have those same numbers in Admo's pool (except it's dog/fav there)!

This horse is terrible. Shouldn't be in this race. He has won once in 6 starts but his other 5 he has finished an average 20 lengths behind and the win was against a much weaker field.
All that being said with a name like that he is a perfect candidate for an emergency resolution

How about Duke to win March Madness? Any thoughts on that? The odds are pretty much even, I think. They beat Alabama by 20 last night and have the future #1 NBA draft pick playing for them. Seems unlikely anyone can beat them this year. They have 2 games left to play.
