This will be of interest to no one, but I just found out I used to work in a building that was built on the land where a hockey arena once stood where The Winnipeg Victorias and The Kenora Thistles both won the Stanley Cup.
You would never guess, it doesn't even seem big enough.

Yeah. This year they've got a guy who was an honest to God 2nd rounder in the NHL draft (NYR 2015), but hovering just under a PPG. The level of play must've risen significantly, ten years ago I remember two guys who didn't even make it to Major Junior ripping it up to the tune of 2PPG. Fun times.

New goalie not going to solve the defensive issue . Skinner got yanked against Dallas but no one was stopping 3 of those goals .
Management has known for years they needed an upgrade in net and done nothing While Colorado two new goalies
Stars gonna need to figure out how to pay Jason Robertson.
Knock on him is he disappears in the playoffs, but he's a huge part of what gets them there. Think that's more small sample size/playoff variance.
League won't even schedule a game between Canadian teams on American Thanksgiving. These guys really hate their core customers

Mike Matheson resigns 5yr/30 mil. Good. Vet presence, plays most minutes, can PP and PK. Turnovers...he catches more flack than any Habs from fans but most these days see how valuable he is.

I actually didn't watch much of the game, but we were killed in shots 31-19. From the parts I was watching it looked like we had more high danger chances.
Best part of the game was Monty saved 30 of 31. Not sure how many were tough saves, but gotta be great for his confidence.
They say habs won the high danger chances. They also say monty came up big. I just watch the 10min highlights and a few YouTube podcasts about the game for most every hab game.
