Legit no idea what you're talking about on 4th goal. The play started with Hutson below our goal line and then 3 passes between your guys standing around like pylons leading to a Demi breakaway. Stankoven hold I believe was actually Carrier and would've been soft. Hutson was boarded a bit before that anyway with no call.Aho and the stick between legs were bad missed calls.
Then my 3rd and 4th goal were mixed up. I’m drunk and it all happened quickly. The 3rd goal was the ref getting in the way causing the defensive zone turnover and pass in front of the net. The 4th goal was the hold on Stank and not Carrier. That’s how Hutson ended up with it at your goal line.
Canes have themselves to blame, but the refs have been pathetic. Habs first period game plan beat us.
Anyways, nice win. We’ll see how game 2 goes. Sigh.

Habs top line went from 1GF 8GA in first 14 games to 2GF 0GA in this one (even strength). Just think it's a really good matchup for the Habs and I think Cole's scored in every game vs. Carolina this season.

MTL gave up 1 shot in the entire 3rd period, which came 18 minutes into the period. Clinical.
