I do

Damn, I want Lakers vs Warriors first round so bad.

I think its unlikely though. Sucks that would have been sweet

Good job by the Pistons losing to the Bucks and getting locked into the six seed.

Yep. That pretty much guarantees we'll win a playoff series for the first time since 2008. Sweet.

It's about this likely according to ESPN (assuming Minny take care of Utah).

Personally I think LAC has to be favorites. Playing a lot better than the Warriors. Last two games have been terrible.

If Joker doesn't win the MVP, greatest season ever as a non-MVP? Wilt didn't get one when he averaged 50 is the only one I can think of that compares.

Jeremy Lin the year he had #Linsanity takes the cake

Shaq

But prob still joker. Statistically isn’t it his best season? Alsotjigh hard to compare even against 4 years ago the league averages have changed a lot

He's the first center to average a triple double.

Tope 3 in scoring, assists, rebounds, and steals.

When Joker is on the court the team averages 125 per game. With him off the court the team averages 88 points a game.

All of this on a team in disarray.

He should win coach of the year too while we're at it.

Interested to know where those numbers come from when his on/off aren't that far apart (though still a long way).

but what about Shai.

His numbers are pretty sick too. His team is in first in tougher western conference.

Shai is first in scoring.
Then I heard he's statically one of the best defenders also, especially at his position.

I think Shai deserves it this year. Joker is a sick man. He will still prob be favored
for MVP next year

I dunno if there is a correct MVP vote.

Like it was said, best player on the best team still means something.

But do you say f it and vote for the best player. We talk **** about how Jordan never won a couple MVPs yet Jokic has the last 3/4.

I dunno! I'll vote with Zach Lowe like the rest of the media.

Shai 32.7/5/6.4 1.7 steal
PER 30.6 WS 16.7
FG 51.9% eFG% 56.9

(89) MJ 32.5/8/8. 2.9 steal
PER 31.1 WS 19.9
FG 53.8% eFG% 54.6

No idea why magic got it shrug
Seem it’s about the team winning more ?

So Jokic going to lose it despite deserving it more imo.
Jokic 29.8/12.8/10.3. 1.8 steal
PER 32.1 WS 16.2
FG 57.5% eFG% 62.5

The NBA really nailed it by coming up with an award with no factual definition so that fans & media create infinite content over who the most "valuable" player is. A+ marketing

For those playing at home.

Seems like I know what I'm talking about.

Kinda funny that if Houston OR Utah wins, Clippers can’t go below 5.

But Clips warriors basically the only game where both teams will care so it’ll prob be for the playin

Clips / Warriors should be an awesome game. First true “playoff intensity” game of the season.

If it is intended to go to the player who had the best season, and the player who is the most valuable to his team, that's Joker, and it isn't particularly close. Shai obviously is going to win, but that's just because people got tired of giving it to Jokic.

Healthy Kawhi is still like the 7th best player in the league.

Also Ben Simmons - still ass

If the Warriors lose this game, it is on Curry. I don't know if he is off physically, but he has been playing like complete ass and making terrible decisions. He has five turnovers, all of which were unforced.

Good timing.

Can’t saddle a mustang, that’s just his joy of the game.
