Bit like Steve Bruce and his 13 league goals in 90/91. 19 in all comps.

Edit: not as penalty dependent as I thought. Only 10 of his 29 were pens
Wow. In 91/92 he scored 21 league goals in 37 games

I cannot recall the last player that hit 21 top flight league goals for us. That really is an insane statistic.

Rangers RB Tavernier was top scorer last 2 seasons with 16 and then 17. His goal scoring record is pretty incredible granted he did take pens and fks.

and to think, people moan about Gabriel scoring too many

How many of those 21 were pens?

Just looked it up. Just one of the 21 was a penalty, in the 7-0 thrashing of Espanol in which he scored 4 goals Michel was the regular penalty taker that season.
That's just mental.

A lot of the first half problems were down to having an unenergetic Partey in RB and the effect that had on Ethan.

Odegaard just an absolute baller. I've not looked but I'd be stunned if he and Saka hadn't created the most big chances, by far, as a pair for any team in the prem since he joined.

Just seen the 2nd Gabi goal again. He was half way to South America how offside he was. Maybe VAR is needed afterall

Na the game watching experience is so much better without it. I saw that goal in real time and thought he was off. Wonder if the lino programmed to keep the flag down there was a factor.

Seeing the freeze frame, that's the kind of one I'm happy to give to the attacker, there's enough of him inline with the defender and we shouldn't need to go to 120 secs of lines being drawn.
