Did you get any snow? If so how did the animals handle it?

None here. The surprising stuff stayed well south. The unsurprising snow was to the north several days earlier. Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right ...

I was hoping we'd get the snow that went to the south as that would apparently have meant we wouldn't have had it so cold. The cold has been a bear for us critters not used to it. 11* last night was unpleasant.

My outside cat reluctantly agreed to be kept inside during the worst of it--I guess you learn to compromise when you are 17 or 18 in whatever that works out to in cat years. Something mysterious happened to the feral who had been hanging out here for 4-5 years. I buried him a day or two before the cold snap hit us. I was sad to see him go even though I had some issues with him. He'll probably be the last in a long line of strays and ferals who have found quarters here.

I don't think these two stupid little dogs have noticed any difference except that the ground is krinkly when they first go out in the mornings.

ETA: The turtle seems to be kicking along ok even though his housing is in a hard to heat part of the house.

That one is a mix and a rescue who came like that. He's the best dog I ever had--sumbitch seems to have a conscience, which is more than I can say for a lot of people. LOL
