Hard to be happy after Michigan beat Ohio State today. Beating them in basketball is almost as expected as beating them in football.

Horrible end to the Arizona game (for Arizona). Down 1 point with 15 seconds to go, Love gets fouled going to the basket on a play that is counted as a shooting foul 99% of the time and the refs call it on the floor, and basket is called off. He makes both FTs so Az is up 1. And then they lose the game when the BYU guard is off balance with his back to the basket and throws up a prayer shot at the buzzer (that is an airball nowhere near the basket) and gets bailed out by a phantom shooting foul call. He makes both and Az loses by 1.

Horrible.

Colorado Buffs now 2-14 in conference play. They've played a tough schedule....but I do think they will need to win the BIG 12 conference tournament to get an NCAA bid.

Anyone disagree?

the 99% claim is absurd (cbb isn't the NBA). is a shooting foul called more often than not in that scenario? probably?

Drake clinches a share of the MVC title with a win in OT at second-place UNI, in a game that defined ugly.

Once again, they didn't do much down the stretch on offense. Doesn't seem like they have the offense to compete at a higher level. They do play tough defense, but I don't think that will hold up against a big-time team, should they make the tournament.

Should capture the regular-season title, with that last two games vs UIC and SW MO St, two of the lower teams in the Valley.

No longer feel as if Drake could be a surprise upset team in the NCAA. Just not enough horsepower.

I wouldn't hate a future on St. Johns making a final four. Looks like it is +550, seems fair. Ricky P ending his career on being the first team to take 4 different teams to a final four seems like a fit ending. But hard to see them shipping

Big East refs let them get away with murder. Their extremely physical play will be an issue for them in the tourney.

If refs review who a ball goes off of they should be able to review obvious fouls on those plays

Been betting on some lines of teams to make tourney or not.

Feel a bit lower on vcu and unc and smu than bracket matrix type things. Can't see teams with such bad record against top teams getting in without a marquee win.

Smu price is quite tantalizing though.

I didn't watch the Michigan-Nebraska game that just ended, but I can watch any time off DVR and I'm tempted to start it up just to see what the hoops equivalent of a forty car pileup looks like.

Can't remember the last box score I saw where the winning team had more rebounds (50) than points (49).

Must have been vintage B1G basketball.

UK once had a game where the final rebounds to points was 108-102
