February 18 β The first day clubs can designate franchise or transition players.
February 24-March 3 β
I thought nath was joking but Shough is eight days older than Lawrence; Rising is almost five months older than both of them.
FWIW Sanders turned 23 on February 7th. I can see that being a concern.
hoping either Billy Bowman, Jr. (Safety, Oklahoma) or Ty Robinson (DT, Nebraska) is available for CIN at #119
that said, they may trade back or select a RB
I mean at this stage it's got to be something like an open secret within the league that Sanders is eating some comical felony charges next week, right?
Nath you really need to go back and look at that CU / BYU bowl game. That was the last game Sanders played in before the draft and I'm sure every NFL team has watched the tape of that game.
It's not good. BYU was leading 38-7 before giving up a TD with about 2 mins left at the end which helped Sanders numbers a little. CU didn't score in the first half. Sanders looks really bad against a good but not great college team. Sure, it's only one game, but a top 5 pick in the draft shouldn't be having that bad of a game with all their starters playing.
Before this game, I thought Sanders would probably go in the first, maybe high second round. After that game, I am not at all surprised he's dropped.
I was so disappointed this didn't happen. Based on my feelings last night, it's almost a certainty that Sanders is a Cowboy next year and Prime is the coach the year after that. Sigh.
Maybe but I assume Deion said/did something that was so untenable to the network of GMs needing a QB that some kind of gentlemen's agreement to blackball Shedeur came about quickly.
The idea he is just falling this far because he is just not that good of a QB prospect is completely absurd in terms of expected value at the end of the 3rd.
I feel like someone would have already leaked the potential of some kind of scandal though. A "**** you Deion" by a small group of participants is the best fit here IMO.

Deion attitude without Deion talent isn't very appealing.

Spoiler
As a baseline this was Sanders in the BYU game

Here's Jayden against an Arkansas team that went 6-6

Who can forget these 2 gems from Anthony Richardson who somehow still went 4th in the draft

Not the worst of the bunch, but not exactly what you'd expect from the heir apparent, who went #1

Finally, I'm guessing Dom is pretty happy his team didn't judge Allen by one bad game.

FTR, I don't think race has anything to do with Sanders falling.
Sanders played 4 games against teams that finished nationally ranked, lost all 4 and was ass in all 4
Dude is erratic in the pocket, his deep ball seems to just flat out suck (all those highlight reels kiper is jizzing on himself over are him underthrowing 40 yarders), he regularly goes for the big play because reasons, dude got away with a lot of **** cuz he played against crap talent
If you assume he brings his colorado game to the nfl and does the same **** you’re looking at richardson levels of completion percentage and picks without the ability to bomb it 60 yards and drop your jaw
LOL
9ers pick next. Com'on 9ers make the pick!!!!
Edit: How boring
Homeboy ain't getting drafted
There's gotta be a pity pick out there somewhere even if nobody truly thinks he has "it."
Browns pick at 126, but based on everything we've seen so far I doubt they pull the trigger.
F U Duke Tobin you shitty ass FO clown
OMG thank you Steelers. Jack Sawyer is a great get.
This is worse than the 08 subprime crash.
Ya he’s not getting drafted
Good work, subprime
CLE out here loadiing up on RBs
