Miami wont have to throw tim boyle out there anymore when the concussion comes, and it will come

man shedeur being mr irrelevant would have been funny

"Subprime" is an outstanding nickname.

It is though Shedeur’s draft slide is by far the worst if not only football fail of his life.

The numbers retirement thing was awful, but not as bad as what Bill McCartney’s daughter went through, or Bill Callahan’s Khmer Rouge campaign at Nebraska, or Brian Kelly’s murder of Declan Sullivan.

We are all witnesses.

Isn’t there a precedent for a league commissioner forcing an incompetent Cleveland owner to sell the team?

I guess Sanders is only a surprise now if he makes it. What I saw of him he was awful good at extending plays then delivering big strikes. I guess it's mostly on the mental side that he alienated everybody, but this seems extreme.

Well….bravo to the Browns tbh. They’ve picked up what could be a high extra first Rd pick for next year and have two bites at the cherry at QB this year to see if they can hit lightning in a bottle.

If they can’t, they will likely suck again in 25 and could have two top 10 picks to manoeuvre into getting a better QB

Also like the Rams picking up an extra 1st Rd for next season from the Falcons for similar reasons. Guessing this is their last year of Stafford?

Whoever signs Xavier Restrepo is gonna be happy. I think he makes a roster and contributes this year.

Quite an interesting and mainly hyperbole free article on Shadeur’s slide

How our Jets looking?

Really glad we didn’t take Shitdeur.

Just looked at coaches. Hired Det passing game guy for the O, ok he is new but he did something. but the defense has steve wilks...

but its ok, not gonna be easy to get people, team is dumpster fire.

I would have declined, they never called, but I would have declined.

my sources told me he thought the same thing

Absolutely baffled by whatever the **** the browns are doing

Drafting Gabriel (lol) ahead of sanders is one thing. It’s stupid, but I get it if you know you need a qb but have ruled him out. Trading up to draft sanders too is another thing altogether

Pretty obvious FO wanted no part of the sanders show and then Haslem put his thumb on the scale in the 5th. If ever there was a team that needed to be on hard knocks it’s this dumpster fire

They're throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing if anything will stick.

Makes sense if you accept the logical premise that nobody in the Browns organization knows how to evaluate a ****ing QB. Just bring in a bunch of guys and hope that one of them is good enough. If they're not, bring in more guys. They'll always have at least one "proven" veteran like Flacbert to hold things down when the young guys suck.

On an unrelated note, it should be a league requirement now that the 49ers draft a QB in the 7th round every year. No idea if Kurtis [strike]Blow[/strike] Rourke can hang with Bork, but I was glad to see him picked.

The only thing that browns have done is completely set Gabriel up for failure, so I mean, gjge on wasting a 3rd plus whatever you used to trade up on the 5th when you may as well have drafted sanders in the 3rd and called it a day

Dude’s best case scenario if he doesn’t walk on water day 1 is the browns cut him out of camp so he can wash his hands of this team
and having every pundit and sportstalkradiofan demanding his demise in favor of Subprime

If you took sanders in the 3rd and Gabriel in the 5th or Gabriel in the 3rd and literally anyone but sanders in the 5th, totally agree

Drafting someone 2 rounds ahead of a guy whose name Kiper screams when he cums probably isn’t a great move if you think Gabriel is someone who has any chance at the nfl level

Also definitely down for any team that doesn’t have a bonafide HOF qb to be drafting a qb every year. There’s never a bad reason to put a flier on someone with a last round pick

The Browns just don't know, so it doesn't make any difference. And it can't be that Gabriel has any expectation that he's going to get developed, so it seems unlikely that it's going to affect him that much. The only difference between them and street free agents is that they'll get a little more money to show up.

Poor OC & QB coach. Gonna be instructed to waste a lot of time to try to make the boss happy instead of doing what they think is best.

Completely agree. Beyond any talk of which QB is better, is Sanders worthy of a high pick, is Sanders good, etc., they've made a total mess of the locker room. If Gabriel gets washed out in the noise of all this which I think is pretty likely, it's just a total waste of a 3rd round pick and very on-brand for the Browns.

i wouldn't be able to give a grade better than a C+/B- after the miserable process around the Savaiinaea pick

What's wrong with him?

by newguyhere m

What's wrong with him?

i made mention of the process not the player

i'm not a big fan of pissing away top 100 picks

A day later and I'm still mad I didn't think of Subprime.

It's so elite.
