I donβt really follow the draft stuff so apologies if this has been mentioned but β¦
Justin Herbert is entering his sixth season as a pro. Saints rookie QB Tyler Shough backed up Herbert for 2 years when they were both at Oregon!
iirc a covid year + broke multiple bones at TT and got an injury year
This might be the year the Chiefs fade a bit. They're coming off a super bowl loss where they got their ass beat, won a bunch of tight games, and their offense looked very down. Kelce will only be good in the red zone, Rice is talented but injury prone, and their running game sucks (Mahomes led their team?).
As a Broncos fan id like it to be them but I feel Chargers and Chiefs tie at 12-5 or 11-6 and Chargers win a tie breaker with Denver again sneaking into that 7 spot. Raiders will be bad again but somehow will beat all 3 teams.
I wouldn't say Rice is injury prone.
He played 16 games his rookie season, and only got injured last season because of an accidental run in with Mahomes.
So he's missed nearly half his games!
In all seriousness, fair enough. I felt like he got knocked out of a few games...maybe had an ankle issue his first year. My bad, I was incorrect
Chiefs D is legit. Sadly they will keep winning imo

It’s been my experience that when you start constructing elaborate scenarios to pick against a big favorite, that’s usually a bad sign. We’re seeing a bit of this regarding the NBA right now.
Minshew Mania has walked through many doors
DET lost a key kneecap biter today
Pretty damn good draft yr 2010
i'm sure they'll find a way to move past Ragnow.
so well, golf is in his future
Pretty damn good draft yr 2010
Gronk to the detwa loins to play along side Megatron and Staffah would have been something
Wild to see Sam Bradford in the same draft class with guys who are still playing. Seems like he's been out of the league forever.
His draft year was the final year of ridiculous rookie contracts before the CBA reset the scale.
6 years, $78 mil, $50 guaranteed, maximum value $86
versus
Cam's contract the next year of 4 years $22 mil guaranteed with a $14.5 signing bonus then basically played for **** the following 3 seasons. His final career earnings were $133.5 mil, which is hilarious seeing Bradford at $130 mil.
Fraudgers vs Fields in Week 1

the gift that keeps on giving
This probably doesn't really count as news but...
Anthony Richardson is injured again (shoulder) and will miss minicamp.
I'm sure he'll be back and healthy by the time camp starts...only to get injured again, and again....and again.
I could see a trade for one if they are really gonna take a shot, they have a great d... but prolly not a good idea.
Also could see Rodgers talking sht to GM after otas about the trash they have. He is also a GM.
Looks like a nursing home resident who just won some Steelers' swag playing BINGO in the dayroom.
