go Aces!

just don't forget that Angel Reese is also helping to drive those ticket prices up...

There's 4 teams fighting of the title: NY, Min, Indy, LV in that order I would say heading into the season. All 4 are solidly above the rest and will win 30+ games, with the 5 seed probably down near .500.

Seattle, Atl, Phoenix should all make the playoffs, Phoenix most likely to fail of the 3, but higher ceiling than the others.

LA, Dallas, Chicago fight for the last playoff slot, all very flawed teams that probably win 16-20 games and lose badly to the 1 seed. I think if Brink can get up to speed by about the mid-season mark they are the best of the bunch. As a Lynx fan I want Chicago to miss so MN locks up a lottery pick.

Wash, Conn, GS might combine for 15 wins, mostly from games vs each other.

Clark, Phee, A'ja for MVP, I predict that Clark after a full offseason is going to make a big jump from her stellar 2nd half play and she probably doesn't finish outside top3 MVP for a decade.

Paige will be the best player on Dallas after about a 10 game initiation, but they are a ****-hole franchise and she's going to have to leave to win anything.

Next offseason will be total chaos so I hope MN gets it done this year.

idk if this is sarcastic or serious. but angel is a big draw. I was looking at ticket prices last year for a sparks game in LA, and sparks were terrible. prices for Chicago game(with angel) were way higher than other games. 5k a ticket for floor seats.

iirc the same tickets were like 500 for a bad team... and I don't think Chicago even had a winning record at the time. it was all angel Reese

Paige might not have to leave Dallas to win. talent(players and managerial) might come to her in Dallas.

Chicago has a shot to be a good/great team. chennedy Carter is one of the most talented players in the league. she has some issues that keep her from playing up to her potential. but if she can get her head on right, or the sky can find people to keep her in a good place mentally. big ifs, that probably won't happen. but she's the quickest, most explosive player in the league

Did the Sky get relegated to the Mexican league?

Arlington, TX (April 24, 2024) – City of Dallas Council Members Wednesday approved a 15-year, $19 million use agreement for the Dallas Wings to play in the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas Memorial Arena, beginning in 2026. The agreement is pending approval by the WNBA.

The Wings will play the 2024 and 2025 WNBA seasons in College Park Center in Arlington, Texas, where the club has played the last eight seasons.

β€œThe Dallas Wings would like to thank the City of Dallas and especially Mayor Johnson for his strategic vision and commitment,” said Dallas Wings President and CEO Greg Bibb. β€œThe City of Arlington, the University of Texas at Arlington, and College Park Center continue to be valued partners, and we look forward to playing in Arlington for the next two seasons.”

This proposed deal comes at a time when interest in women’s sports, the WNBA, and the Wings is at record levels. The Wings saw record attendance in 2023, and virtually every business metric record has been, or will soon be, broken during the 2024 season. The Wings have sold out of Season Ticket Memberships and already experienced ticket sales growth north of 200 percent. Individual ticket sales are up more than 1,100 percent.

The sellout of Season Ticket Memberships for the 2024 season marks a first in the team’s history. A waitlist for Season Ticket Memberships has been established, with benefits including presale access to 2024 WNBA Playoff games and an opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to select 2024 regular-season games. The team is expected to announce multiple individual-game sellouts in the coming days.

Good point.

What year it is isn't my strong suit.

obv sarcastic, just poking fun at how she kept saying the meteric rise of the WNBA last year was as much due to her as Caitlyn Clark. She is definitely a draw (for some reason, I think her game is garbage) but not in the same realm as CC.

lol angel Reese 25

and no Paige????

Rookies not eligible until the season starts according to the article.

I'll be curious to see how much Reese has improved, she probably needed an offseason just as much as CC did.

I didn’t see Juwanna Mann on that list. She’s elite.

cc got more of an off season. Reese played in unrivaled.

Reese is an elite defender, and literally lead the league in rebounding. if you're building a team, there are tons of great shooters. but you need some rebounding and defense. and she is literally number one rebounder. and she can pass too.

she has a terrible reputation, but all her team mates love her. her coaches love her.

she just shut down phee, who is second or third on the list

Angel Reese’s mentor is Shaq.

comments on that top 25 are fire

angel Reese vs Caitlin Clark in 4 hours from now

CC would average 15 apg if her teammates could make layups.

Caitlin Clark flagrantly fouled angel Reese. imagine the media storm if angel had flagrantly fouled Caitlin
