Terminated by way of 0-0. yikes

Bayern get 10 and Kane has no goal involvement

19' Ruiz F. (Kvaratskhelia K.) [PSG]
45+1' Vitinha (Kvaratskhelia K.) [PSG]
87' Mayulu S. (Mbaye I.) [PSG]
90+7' Lee Kang-In (Penalty) [PSG]

damn, qsg confirmed big time back

Can't wait for the game against Seattle where Mayulu scores 8.

Glad I missed nothing of value in that Bayern game

As much as watching Chelsea being inept was pain, this Boca/Benfica game was A+

if one couldn't get hyped for mamelodi sundowns vs. ulsan hyundai, u can't get hyped for anything.

Madrid sucks god damn

All these clown teams and other than the semi-pro Auckland team, the biggest beatdown was suffered by Atleti lol

Enlighten me why is there a semi-pro team in the CWC?

The Club WC takes at least 1 team from every confederation in the world. The issue is that New Zealand and the tiny countries around them compete in a confederation called the OFC, instead of doing like Australia does and competing in the AFC (Asian Confed.)

The 2nd issue is that New Zealand has 2 competent clubs, but they compete in Australia's A-League (thus are competing in AFC and not OFC) so the remaining clubs for New Zealand's national league (which competes in OFC) are all small semi-pro and amateur clubs.

So Auckland City just happens to be the best of all the terrible clubs in OFC.

It's similar to the 2013 Confederations Cup where Tahiti qualified from OFC and were losing 10-0 to Spain.

Hope that made some semblance of sense.

It perfectly explains it - thanks.

Back in the day we used to joke about traveling to a small island in the region and just instantly becoming the best football players there. Then if by some miracle regulation we qualify to a world event that would be just bonkers and we would be parttaking in the competition as friends playing against real professionals - I'm guessing the results would have been similar than to this Auckland score, but still what a ride.

This thing is already 100x better than the Europa League. 30 straight days of competitive football in June/July in a world cup format, plus a billion in prizepool.

Maybe extend it to 48 teams next time so Manchester and Marseille have an opportunity to embarass themselves on the world stage.

Mexican food > M'Bappé

Well it's good for the world cup but it tastes like dogshit

PSG 0-1 Botafogo RJ

life comes at you fast, rip qsg

We had a good run

Clearly all the records from CR7 and Messi mean nothing if they've never played in South America. Playing their entire careers against European farmers is easy.

gg Braziou

Actually fell asleep at ~minute 20. This morning i learned that there was a fight between suporters, we now have people from Los Santos fighting for the colors,

Looks like there might be two actually.

damn the wheels fell off of the chelsea wagon in the blink of an eye

bayern-boca jrs should be fun later

poor seattle probably gonna get beat 10-0 instead of 3-0 now. assuming psg is mad and cares.

the south americans are single-handedly giving this tournament life
