NCAA Football 2025
Not sure who will win this year, hopefully Arch goes nuts and UT can kick the door in after making the quarterfinals the
Don’t forget being out the door to Texas A&M before their board and boosters vetoed it. It’s not the “leaving for a better job” but the “boooooo, get a good coach instead” that stings.
Mark Stoops record as UK coach
Will take Stoops 18-21 as my coach as long as he wants. 2021 he got a divorce, and it just hasn't been the same. After Miss St beat Arizona St, UK is clearly back as the worst team in the conference.
Could just be that he found a nice niche in the recruiting era but then the game got changed and it's tougher in the NIL era.

UK for NIL all comes down to Crafts. Reports are Crafts actually gave the money this cycle. Let me say **** the Crafts.
But yeah as far as I understand, UK had the NIL to at least be should have been competitive in WR depth
Record 5-6. Superlocks: 1-1
Here's the LOCKS of the week:
Arizona ml (-105)
New Mexico +15.5 (-110)
Oregon -27.5 (-115)
Georgia -3.5 (-110)
USF + 17.5 (-110)
Florida +7.5 (-110)
$20 to win $949.60
Superlock of the week: Oregon -27.5. Northwestern is terrible and Oregon never lets up. This is about as free as it gets.
Is there a book that puts up lines on this “rules analyst” being wrong? Maybe one of those futures-trading things? I don’t even need to hear him, I’ll just take the opposite of whatever he says.
Like that offensive pass interference rule is supposed to be “on passes beyond the LOS” not “not on passes *behind* the LOS”. So you’re not looking for indisputably it was behind the line, just that it was right at the line, ergo not beyond the line, which it obviously was.
I am shocked, shocked I say, to discover subprime is a media driven fraud who has no legitimate claim to being a head coach with the slightest level of competence
Have I been saying this for 3 years now?
Yes, yes I have
But I am shocked
Not sure losing as a road dog is the ultimate indictment, particularly since I’m watching UCLA get pushed around by New Mexico at home, down 18 as a 2 td favorite—and they literally should be down by 5 tds.
This has got to be the worst UCLA team I’ve ever seen. What’s their deal? If anyone has a clue out there they’re doing a great job of keeping it secret. Deion would be an upgrade, and I’m not exactly a fan.
Whelp, I guess the B1g needs cannon fodder…
Can't believe Michigan beat this juggernaut New Mexico team. Maybe we're gonna win the national title after all.
Feel like this season can just turn into a competition for the biggest dunk on UCLA.
Utah put up a decent 43-10
New Mexico’s 35-10 is sad because of the two fourth-down stops inside the 5.
Both were at the Rose Bowl.
But on deck I see a lot of opportunities for epic bludgeoning:
10/04/25 2 Penn State
10/25/25 @ 22 Indiana
11/15/25 @ 1 Ohio State
11/29/25 @ USC
It’s just too bad they don’t play Oregon.
73-0 but did they cover? I remember before the internet I called the local paper sports department one night for a Houston score, Andre Ware era. They were at 90-something with a shot at triple digits. Ware had 500 yards and 6 touchdowns. At half. As Dick Vitale might say, it was an M&Mer baby.
"But did they cover?" I asked the guy I knew in the sports department.

Been watching since 1988. I never imagined I would see a UCLA team get outclassed by UNLV and New Mexico. This is definitely the lowest point I've seen.
Troy; "'Sup Goose?"
...
Troy; "'Bye Goose. Hope this one heals."
I wonder if part of last week's slaughter of Okie Lite wasn't his players revolting against Gumby's stand against paying players?
Not sure they show those review talks often but enjoyed it in the Clemson game.
the ACC introduced it this year and afaik is the only conference that has ever innovated and tried such a thing
* not every ACC game will be doing it
Somebody needs to put some lithium powder in their super lock. It seems to be a little rusty.
Just kidding ILP
I love that you put out your picks every week.
good thing Dabo has those timeouts in his back pocket
LOL Clempson
Is this the LOL Clempson thread?
Dabo is so washed. He has to admit he isnβt the smartest person in the room anymore. Heβs so far up his own ass itβs amazing
