**** 2025 Season-long NFL PEEHS! ****
Hello again, football fans!
It’s that time of year again! The premier, flagship contest of SE, Season-Long NFL PEEH
Also played by 2 entrants, our next incorrect is the Vikings' linebacker Jonathan Greenard. He had a very productive 2024, with 12 sacks, but this year he only has 1.

Our next incorrect is the Ravens' linebacker Kyle Van Noy. Another player with a very productive 2024, who posted a career best 12.5 sacks, has been snake-bit like the rest of the Ravens' defense this year. He has 1 sack in 2025.

Our next incorrect is the 49ers outstanding DE Nick Bosa. He's a great defensive player, who's sadly lost for the year with a torn ACL. He notched 2 sacks this year before going down.

Our next incorrect is the Eagles' linebacker (and former UGA standout) Nolan Smith Jr. He played in 3 games before going on IR for a torn triceps. Hopefully he'll be back next month. He has no sacks so far this season.

The next most popular correct answer was played by 5 contestants. Everyone wants to root for the Lions' Aidan Hutchinson, as he returned from a gruesome, season-ending injury last year. He's picked up right where he left off, with 6 sacks.

Our next correct was played by 4 people. Yet another perennial DPOY candidate, I was amused this offseason when Myles Garrett requested a trade, got the bag, and suddenly is now ok playing in Cleveland. He's the headliner for a very good defense, that can absolutely trip up teams at home. For 2025, he has 5 sacks.

Our next corrects are a quartet of 3-pointers. I said this last year, but I'll say it again: My favorite "Danielle Hunter is AWESOME"-stat is that he's STILL the youngest player in NFL history to 50 career sacks. He's doing his thing, for a good Texans defense, with 4 sacks so far this year.

Also played by 3 players, our next correct is pretty much the only player on the Raiders who's both healthy AND good, Maxx Crosby. And he may not be healthy after this last weekend. I saw a rumor on the internet today that the Cowboys have trade interest... Probably a psy-op from a delusional Cowboys fan, of which there are many. Anyway, Crosby has 4 sacks.

Our next correct is the erstwhile Cowboy, Micah Parsons. He's on a list with only Hall of Famers to amass 12+ sacks a year each of his first 4 years. He definitely got going this past weekend, just in time for this question, and currently sits with 5.5 sacks.

Our final 3-pointer is the 2024 sack champion, the Bengals' Trey Hendrickson. He has 4 sacks in 2025.

We have one 2-point correct answer. My personal pick for DPOY so far this year is the Broncos' outstanding edge Nik Bonitto. The Broncos lead the league in sacks, and Bonitto's a big part of that, with 8 already.

Question 7 closes with 2 aces.
The edge rusher on the opposite side of Micah Parsons in the Packers' defense is a game-wrecker in his own right. Rashan Gary ALSO has 5.5 sacks at this point in the year.

The final ace for this question is brought to you by yours truly!
I heard on a podcast in the offseason of retired O-lineman Terron Armstead being asked who he least wants to have to block. Immediately, he talked up an exciting young edge, Jared Verse. He's the key to a young and talented Rams' D-line that hasn't missed a beat with Aaron Donald's retirement. Verse got his 4th sack this weekend, in a dominating win in London over the Jags.

With a SHEEP score of 6, plus 10 different correct answers submitted, incorrects will receive a score of 16 for this question.

I know Tom was quietly sad when Parsons was traded. :p
Here are the scores after 7 questions! As always, let me know if you spot a mistake.
Two of our perfect games fell, including our former leader MrWookie! ...And then there were 8.
The 8 names in bold are working on a perfect game.
...As we're all looking up at that_pope, now!
I move out of the Trollface Memorial Spot on the back of that ace! ...Still on the anti-podium, though.
That's all for this week! Enjoy the games this weekend.
I haven't got my next work schedule yet, so no word on when the Question 8 Reveal will be. Highly likely it'll be Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, though.
The theme for this week is, "Offense sells tickets, but DEFENSE WINS GAMES! Tune in next week, to find out if your team held an opponent to 9 points or less!
It amuses me that Bidz was on the SHEEP.... AGAIN.
Well, there are worse strategies out there. Like ones that put you on the anti-podium.
Either way, this is a highly impressive perfect game streak, for the 8 names in bold!

Hardly. When I submitted my pick it looked as if he might not play at all this season. I was pretty happy when I found out that he was not only going to play but might also be motivated as well.
But this is likely where my PEEHS joy ends.
Sad one to miss. Not sure why I picked that guy
I picked the wrong Giant.
