Yeah that is cruel. Darned if I wasn't wondering just yesterday about this tendency to leave star QBs in the game when down hopelessly late in the game in routs. There are so many examples of it, and examples of you get to the end of the year and the backup quarterback QB has hardly taken a snap. Then I thought well I can't really think of a lot of examples of QBs being injured late in routs. For what it's worth.
