Assignment football is all goalline defense is. Each player with a gap and man on the outside. Sweat cheating their is absolutely inexcusable. Settle yourself and go all in on QB in goalline. If the offense wants to endanger their qb inside the 5 and your assigned QB, make sure you get a hit on him.

Shanahan is awesome, great playcall. Johnson aint bad either these might be the 2 best offensive minded coaches. Problem is SF has McCaffrey and the Bears don't.
You should see a choice route that goes under middle when you see the exotic pressure like that. I think Caleb thought it was a bluff with the deep free. Either way you want to make sure you do the quick choice to your 2 slot or 3 slot.
