NFL Offseason 2026
it's the most wonderful time of the year for pretend GMs - the NFL Offseason!
Sure the games are fun, but the 7 months of
lol, this is the most fabricated story I've ever read. An 8 year old girl in the '80s is criticizing the ownership of an NFL team? What kind of 8 year old even criticizes the ownership in the first place as if they have the awareness of how a team is run? Let alone a girl? This would be hard to believe it even happening today.
I donβt think it is that far fetched that a kid can be critical of the way their favorite sports team is run. I watched a documentary a couple years ago called βlittle big leagueβ that was about a kid named Billy Haywood who was the 12 year old grandson of the Minnesota twins owner.
Long story short Billy ends up inheriting ownership of the twins when his grandpa dies with the stipulation that the manager and executives basically run the club until Billy is old enough to run it. He ended up getting so upset at the way the teamβs manager was running the club he fired him and named himself the head coach.
that was a really good movie
it wouldn't be an offseason without a few dv charges - Josh Jacobs this time
WC sweepstake if anyone fancies it

Also to keep this on topic, HURRY UP SEPTEMBER
Falcons edge rusher James Pearce has accepted a 1-year diversionary program in exchange for getting the charges against him dropped. Plus a permanent restraining order to stay away from his ex-girlfriend.
Still no word yet about discipline from the league, but at least it looks like the legal side of his troubles are resolved.
…Assuming he can stay out of trouble this next year, and beyond.
dude must have quite the lawyer
Guessing thereβs some $$ going to the victim to get her to pull back testimony/charges etc

One call. That's Saul!
This dude was so ready to see Harbaugh go.
to be fair, what else should he say?
Feels like sorsby is a mortal lock to be taken my the browns, jest or crads in the supplemental
Garrett to the rams
:(
And Jared Verse and a first round pick to the Browns!
Wow.
Jared Verse is really good, and getting better.
Browns are obviously giving up the best piece in the deal, but what they got back isn’t nothing.
Agreed, Verse is a hell of a player. I don't think the initial reporting was a fleece, and the final details are even better for the Browns.
Final deal is
Verse
27 1st
28 2nd
29 3rd
for Garrett
Decent trade for the Browns I think? Verse fits their timeline better than Garrett. Heβs a little older than youβd like but they have another two years before they need to pay him.
And it means they get another 1st rounder in what is expected to be a great draft next season. And it potentially contributes to them being worse so having their own pick higher for QB drafting purposes.
So it is logical. Having said thatβ¦the Rams 1st rounder is gonna be mid 20s or higher youβd imagine (ditto their subsequent picks in the following two years) so itβs not like theyβre getting a potential top 10 pick
