Pitch clock is fine. Nobody needs to adjust their batting gloves thrice after every pitch.

espn combines shohei into both pitcher and hitter which is wild to me - while he can only get you pitching or hitting each day, that's super overpowered to be able to get all his pitching and only miss on the batting stats he got on days he pitched

That's idiotic. Shohei should be drafted separately as a hitter and a pitcher, or in the alternative, you only should be able to start him as a hitter or a pitcher, and you should have to set your lineup with him as either a DH or a P on a weekly basis.

We've talked about this. Nobody wants less baseball. Everyone wants less not baseball. Asking for the equivalent of more commercial breaks is just weird. The pitch clock is one of the best rule changes in the history of sports and that's agreed on by olds and youngs alike. You're simply on the wrong side of this one.

Eliminating the NL no-DH is the most egregious of these imo. I liked the differentiation between the leagues, it contributed to their separate identities. And I always preferred NL because I like the strategy not having a DH adds.

Kinda neutral on pitch clock but I'd be fine if it was gone.

I actually like the ghost runner or whatever it's called. I don't want to watch 18 inning games, particularly in the regular season.

I think ABS is going to be a positive too, though I'm holding judgement until I see the actual implementation.

I would say it's actually been phenomenal. I would probably extend the time in the playoffs but otherwise the best thing Manfraud has done in his tenure by a mile.

no dh was kinda neat, nice little novelty, but it was ultimately bad for the game having an automatic out

it could have worked better if it were more feasible for a pitcher to be a good hitter but it was so rare and ultimately so unimportant to the team that even when there were pitchers who were good at hitting, they regularly wound up in the al as often as the nl, showing that nl teams weren't willing to pay a premium to either sign or trade for them
