The issue isn't the players we have signed - they are good players. It's the clueless people who run the club who think they can cover their own inadequacies by throwing huge amounts of money at the problem.

Bruno Guimaraes is a lot more believable for me than game changing wingers. Although I guess at this level there are only a handful of players that fit this category.

We're selling probably the best young CB prospect in Europe to a club whose stock in trade is buying the best young prospects and developing them further, because he's not a good fit for the current manager's system.
