Barcola now available, gl Mindfckr this is the closest to a young Thierry Henry you can get imo

Thank you. We'll take him.

Unfortunately there is a real opportunity that the guy likes money more and Pool are desperate.

Trossard and Martinelli both goating it up at the world cup might also mean that we will get the false sense of security that they are gamechangers.

but I so want Barcola its not even funny.

At this rate I am going to see a 1billion transfer fee in my lifetime

by Elrazor m

We have turned into Man Utd circa 5 years ago, that's what. Overpaying significantly for players at the behest of a manager who will be gone in 18 months, at which point the process will start again, while selling off our best young players to flourish elsewhere.

lol bore off

If Vuskovic doesn't want to stay you can't force him to, and we have signed 2 CBs with prem experience.

Tonali and Fernandes are also both proven prem quality players, is the price tag high? Yes, but we have the money and the PSR room to do it, and they are clearly (especially Tonali) miles better than any other CM options we have right now.

Can't win with some Spurs fans.

Are we going to be challenging for the title? Obviously not. Champions League? Again obviously not next year. Really hard to argue this isn't going to massively improve us though.

Still not sure where the goals are going to come from but I assume that's next.

Max Dowman to PSG in 2031

Buying two good midfielders was the surest way to finish above 17th. Just wonder if there's anything left in the kitty for forwards.

According to an NUFC source, Arsenal's interest in Tonali dwindled when his wages and agents fees became known, even before the asking price of £100M for a good but not stellar player became known.

It's possible that a waiting game is being played while Vini's future is being decided, with Rogers the fallback if neither Vini or Barcola are available.

Probably a good strategy as Vini would be a transformative signing for the attack.

PSG are stacking bitcoin, eventually we will see the first BTC transfer.

Vini? Like is there a realistic chance he will not be wanted by Madrid?

I mean Id take him in a heartbeat, but he seems like such a Mou shithouse player its not even close.

Also Barcola is available just not sure how much he wants for a weekly paycheck. Might completely reorganize everything within our wage structure.

That said you wont get proven game hangers for cheap.

Arsenal have been punching significantly above their weight in terms of wages, but we have to accept that if we want to compete with the strongest clubs in Europe then the wages bill will end up closer to theirs.

The club's now the third largest in the world in terms of revenue, and we need to change the way we think about things. Then we will be a viable route for players of the quality of Vini if they want out.

The issue isn't the players we have signed - they are good players. It's the clueless people who run the club who think they can cover their own inadequacies by throwing huge amounts of money at the problem.

So we've signed good players, but that isn't a path to fixing the problems on the field?

I say this as a RM fan with a love-hate view on Vini.
I think there is absolutely no chance RM and/or Mourinho will let Vini go.
I also dont think Vini wants a move, he is just butthurt that there is a player in the squad earning more than him

Yea, it does seem like a contract negotiation tactic than anything else.

I know that this is what becoming next level looks like. I just cant imagine it yet.

Bruno Guimaraes is a lot more believable for me than game changing wingers. Although I guess at this level there are only a handful of players that fit this category.

I'm also fairly certain LegoPep dreams of Oyrazabal or another player from that region

The issue is we're going all in at the behest of a manager who doesn't have a track record of seeing a project through.

It's clear Sensei and van Hecke are very much purchases that are specific fits for de Zerbi's system. We're selling probably the best young CB prospect in Europe to a club whose stock in trade is buying the best young prospects and developing them further, because he's not a good fit for the current manager's system.

Vinai and Lange are the two biggest clowns to show up at a football club since Hicks and Gillett. Of course they are happy to bet the house with money that isn't theirs as they are trying to save their jobs.

Maybe we hit the jackpot - i hope we do - but I'm not in the least bit confident.

We are so passive in the market the Hincapie signing is like a new singing

I thought you were Dutch?

by Ambush m

I thought you were Dutch?

I am but am very indifferent in Dutch teams, never had a favorite
But when I was a kid and watched CL on the telly RM somehow did it for me, even though they were having a rough spell at the time.
I remember the old Bernabeu and literally everyone was in all white, it just had the presence of being the biggest club in the world. There something magical about them.
And one of the most underrated Dutch player Seedorf was playing there, but also Redondo & Roberto Carlos who i loved.
But the main guy for me was Raul Gonzalez Blanco. What a player he was. Most my friends had a poster of Bergkamp or van Basten, mine was Raul.
Ever since been a massive RM fan.
And looking back past 30 years I couldnt have picked a better team.

They are also massive topscorer in this WC btw :p

lol I can condone that from Americans who, if anything at all, only have franchises that can abandon their home city at the drop of a credit card but come on

Zero regrets

Trossard for 20M to besiktas
