that game was a bit of a hot mess but canada won it, so good for them

south africa didn't really try which I didn't get it, they weren't playing a top team. Canada was making all sorts of mistakes themselves.

saw a joke going around that eustáquio is the first portuguese #7 to score in the wc knockout round since maniche in 2006, but maniche apparently wasn't wearing 7 at the time. so, figo? someone else?

I went back and watched the clip of that goal, Maniche was wearing no 18. I think Figo had the no 7 shirt then but didnt score. I have no idea who it could be, they got grouped in 2002.
