As someone who has Paraguay in the sweepstakes, perfectly on track to be the worst team in the tournament.

What’s funny to me is my company put out an all hands memo on their willingness to pay advisors for any World Cup games they attend and upon finding out how truly terrible the Levi’s slate is suddenly they’re walking that back

Yeah what's the deal with this schedule? First game is not until 3 pm Eastern? I don't even know what worldwide audience that's supposed to cater to, certainly not Europe.

It's a freakin' Saturday, there should be games all day long.

It looks like it just has to do with the sites. If you start on ET you can start earlier whereas today they are starting in PT, so the first game is always starting at noon local time.

Most WCs don't have this issue since they spread over one or two time zones.
