Toronto FC needed to win the game on the road by a 4 goal margain.
Toronto starting the game well, but then Montreal scored in the 24th minute! The Toronto pulled themselves togther and scored in the 29th, 39th, 39th, 69th 82nd and 90th minute to win 6-1! This is TFC's firsto trophy in club history ... and to win it against a bitter rival is sweet 😃! Especially considering we've been having problems scoring all year

vancouver whitecaps fc of major league soccer, fresh off securing their 8th cascadia cup, are looking to nab a record 4th straight national championship at home. if they fail to do so, it'll be their "cross-town" "rival*" vancouver fc of the canadian premier league, which would be the 1st for a team from the league founded in 2017. incredible storylines, what an occasion.
