SE Boxing Thread (not waiting for PBF v. Pac II)
I can't hold it in anymore. Pretty Boy's said repeatedly that a good PPV fight takes at least 6 months to promote proper
Which will start first: this fight or NFL Sunday 1pm games?
But first
The mariachi band.
They look similar in size, annoucers talking about canlo like he is tyson. he hasnt ko anyone in years. this comment may bite me in ass later
I wonder if Canelo hasn't lost something moving around classes. Not unlike RJJ, if not that drastic
Bud up 4-2 or 5-1 through 6. Solidly outboxing Canelo so far
getting GOOD
Bud 9-3 or 10-2
Convincing Crawford win. Quite surprising since Alvarez is younger and a natural larger weight class
Canelo just didnt throw much, not only no jab, but just didnt throw
I had it 117-112 but anything down to 115-113 is fair. I think Canelo got injured somehow in the 11th. He didn’t look right. Or else just super frustrated.
Canelo definitely washed, but like he said his legacy already was set. Not since Manila has there been a fight were both guys should clearly retire.
RIP Ricky Hatton
RIP. I'm not even massively into boxing but was a fan of his and bought all his PPV back in the day. He was a world class boxer and a world class person.
I'm convinced the only reason Mayweather beat him was because the ref was corrupt, and that was probably the only reason Mayweather booked that fight. I never saw anyone else trouble peak Flloyd like Hatton did.
Had it 115-113. Wouldn't disagree with anyone who had it wider for Crawford, did think Canelo did more in a couple of the tighter early rounds
Yeah, Canelo couldn't anything going really.
Master class by Bud. Good for him.
Are we finally going to get to see that bitch ass Jake Paul get knocked out?
Go on Santa, prove you exist
Just had an Aaron Pryor reference come by my feed, listing him as 39-1, and it occurred to me I had no idea who the loss was. Having lived through the epic Arguello match ups, matador versus ultimate bull, both of which Pryor won by stoppage of course, I was surprised I couldn't come up with his loss.
So I looked it up and watched some old films, then remembered that he disappeared into a crack house. Came back and got put on the floor in the first round, then stopped later. No longer big news. Bobby Joe Young was the loss. It came up that Pryor had beat Hearns, a favorite of mine, in the Golden Gloves. So I checked that out. Great days for boxing.
Bump.
I heard it was an unwatchable fake bore.

Pryor v Arguello at the old Orange Bowl, scheduled for 15. Other than not being on ABC primetime on a Wednesday, about as good as it gets.
I gave this farce 2 rounds cuz I have a Netflix sub before I understood this was a bullshit con that’ll go to decision and put it on porn
