Winning semis with 17-16 because Allen missed an easy black and winning the final 18-17.. not much to complain about :p

Wu held it together like a champion. Suffering thru both Allen and Murphy winning 5 straight frames, and recovering to get the lead back. He apparently has all the confidence in the world, which is what one needs to win best of 35 matches against world class competition.
Of course Allen had it in the bag to get in the final, but IMO he also erred in that super long 14th frame. He should have taken the rerack and give it another try for the 8-6 lead. I can only wish I knew as much as those players, so maybe fouling the black in was his only hope.
The only miss I can recall that rivals Allen's miss was Judd Trump missing the pink to effectively win the 2020 UK Championship. Trump's chance was a bit more difficult, but still basically a choke.
