1. Kinda weird Pionk got a clipping fine for a hip-check, even with no penalty on the play. Too low? It says there was a 10-minute misconduct penalty, I didn't remember that. It says Sam Bennett got a misconduct penalty at the same time.

2. Team Canada 4 Nations Face-off jersey, when can I buy one? Before Christmas?

Do better USA. Same old boring ****.

Seems like the Rags are saying if Igor wants a 12 million AAV deal, they're gonna make him earn it. 49 shots allowed to the goddamn Flames, 39 to the Oilers and 43 to the mother****ing Blues over the last three games.

only 2 games on a tuesday, and both early starts? weird. tues/thurs/sat are usually the nhl's busy days

bumz 70% corsi, 69% fenwick, 69% shots, 77% chances, 90% high danger chances, xg (??? currently missing on nst for some reason)

Kinda, but they're "only" 9th worst in shots against for the season (closer to middle of the pack last year) and Calgary had like 40 shots against them before the end of the 2nd last week. Seems worse than usual, although all three of those teams are top 10 in shots, which surprised me.

Also lol Bruins but at least the Habs got a loser point after mustering all of 13 shots against ****ing Utah and Slafkovsky was apparently benched for the last 10 minutes of regulation and OT. Keeping my hopes up that they'll never have an actual star to build around again.

Playing great and without Mathews

Yup, but big game tonight though.

don't let anyone tell you that ~23 age curve peak aint a thing for scorers in hockey...

Seems like there's a bit of a lull and then another peak at 33

Let the soap opera begin, Days of our Maple Leafs lives, LOL.

Tavares wants $6.5-7 million, the Leafs want to pay $5-6 million, but there is a good chance of deferred money. Marner's wild rumor is that he wants more than Matthews now by wanting a percentage of the salary cap and not a dollar amount, hahaha.

Other than that we have lots of people out even with Matthews back tomorrow night and even with the Marlies, we have people hurt so it is slim pickings.

Deferred money doesn't mean ****, it's AAV against the cap.

It's going to be interesting how they do it if it does happen, it does not benefit the player. Tavares wants to stay as he likes it here (pfttt bwahahaha lol Canada) and he has his big 7-bedroom house here.

The thing with Tavares is if you want to stay take the 6 million. Im sure he is set for life . As for Marner off to a great start but he just disappears in the playoffs . The problem lies and the Oilers are in the same situation. 3-4 players eat up a ton of salary yeah you have a great regular season but come playoffs .....

I think that's what is going to happen, $6 million if it is those numbers range.

Yay! The returning Knies!

NYLANDER to the rescue!

Are you telling me the Leafs almost blew that 4-0 lead?

Heard it here first Oilers miss the playoffs

vgk with a franchise worst performance at this point...it's like Invasion of the Body Snatchers with vgk being replaced by literal chunks of garbage skating around.

also any praise I gave Samsonov earlier in the season is out the window - he stinks. A literal statue in net incapable of stopping anything doesn't hit his body which he establishes and never moves once the opposition enters the offensive zone.

See I told ya! He did that in Toronto as well.
