2024-2025 EPL Preview
Man City have set another record with 115 charges of financial shenanigans and also managed to win a 4th PL title in a row becoming the first team to do so narrowly beating out arsenal who took it to the last day this year. They accomplished this by rattling off an absurd 33 games unbeaten in all competitions making it 6 titles in 7 years for the Citizens.

Season Preview:
Man City and Arsenal have distanced themselves as the clear favorites for the title. With Arsenal closing the gap and beating Man City on xG could this be the year that they get over the line? There are some large error bars on Liverpool with klopp retiring and Salah getting older, will they be able to insert themselves in the title race again like they did last year?
For top 4/5 can Aston Villa repeat last years feat thanks to the normal culprits being completely incompetent or will one of Chelsea/United get their **** together finally (hopefully not)? Spurs went full Spurs throwing the match vs City to stop arsenal from winning the title while costing themselves top 4 in the process, will they be in the race again despite doing no business at all in the summer to address squad needs?
The relegation fight as usual has the 3 promoted teams as favorites to go back down, but with PSR looming in the background could we see a surprise team relegated?

A spurs player getting found guilty of racism against his own team mate reminded me of the unforgettable time a group of us went to watch a Chelsea v spurs game in the pub, and a row broke out between our table and another table.
Those involved were arsenal, Chelsea and spurs fans, surely a recipe for some inter club violence? No, the only violence was a punch up between two spurs fans. LOOOOL never change.
Would I be labelled anti-woke if I said a 7 match ban seems excessive based on below info?

Rodrigo Bentancur faced criticism for a comment he made about Son Heung-min in a media interview. When asked about distinguishing Son from his cousin, Bentancur remarked, "they all look the same," a statement widely deemed racist. He later apologized to Son, who accepted the apology, emphasizing their strong bond as teammates. Tottenham and the FA addressed the issue, highlighting the importance of education on diversity and inclusion in football

GUYS WE MIGHT BE ABOUT TO SEE HISTORY
If San Marino win tonight they'll get promoted
edit: nvm VAR ruled it out, still 0-0 :(
they got it 😉
Amazing
if son's cousin had balls she'd be ..... helping the team out during training? ¯\_(ツ😉_/¯
anyway who is this cousin that he's coming up in a uruguayan television interview?
an alleged serial rapist, if we're being pedantic.
I still remember watching them score the earliest goal in World cup qualifying history.
The trick is adding 'to me' to the mix.
Then you can say you have trouble distinguishing faces.
I also subscribe to the other woke nonsense take if this is the quote.
People forget that Ian Wright scored 4 that night
Generally I’m not into #BANTZ podcasts or whatever but this made me lol.
Jackson
as sweet as they come
Insanely one sided this. Ndidi probably wanted the red to gtfo of this mess. 2nd yellow incoming.
Lester just need to keep hoofing the ball towards sanchez and he's gonna gift them a goal
I was the equivalent of the Kaka cut it back meme screaming at Saka to pass there
ETHAN
Ethan Nwaneri now has more premier league goals than Phil Foden and Jaden Sancho combined this season
Spurs might want to be careful here, they are making it slightly more likely Arsenal win the league.
Lads, its city
It's the hope that kills you
Is De Bruyne just pretty much finished then or what?
I'm beginning to wonder if he's fallen out with Pep.

Yeah that was the first sign that all wasn't well with City. No doubt over who lost the psychological game that day.
Think I'd settle for another global pandemic for another 19-20 type run, wrapping it up at Xmas.
Maddison has absolutely clowned this city midfield.
