I can think of so many wrong reasons why Eberflus didn’t use that TO. And they’re all hilarious.

Pretty sure you can down the ball if u call a time out with :28-29 seconds

It was 3rd and 26, there are a lot of situations where you complete a pass but it's 4th down so you can't clock it. Not saying that not calling the timeout was correct but it felt like they took a good 5s too long to get the snap off (which is also largely a coaching issue) and the timeout had legitimate value if they could have got the snap off quicker.

In theory, there are some valid scenarios where you try to run a play without using the TO. But the offense clearly didn’t realize that was the plan.

And watching the game run out like that, especially when they had been in FG range, makes not calling the TO very bad.

Even if he had called the TO at :15-20 once he realized things were not moving the way they should have been, could have been defensible.

It was 3rd and 26. Unless they get a 1st down, they can't spike it.

U need to snap take the timeout, I was laughing as it was ticking down like can't call it now but hey if u send the play in ready and prepared for the situation not calling timeout is fine. They obv were not prepared in the slightest
