Is Connor Stalions gonna be his replacement?

https://247sports.com/college/north-caro...

Mack Brown is retiring. Aka being forced to retire. Sounds like unc said **** that when Mack the other day said he might be coming back.

Hopefully for NC he doesn't tell recruits to go somewhere else on the way out the door

UCF just fired Gus Malzahn. Wow

Wait… Gus is resigning to go be FSU’s OC. Excuse me what

So the Chip Kelly move? Maybe Gus really hates NIL and roster management and would rather just go run a college offense.

Pretty clear what is going to happen with UK. Mark Stoops is going to stubbornly stay another year and not really improve. Meanwhile the perfect hire in Jon Sumrall is going to take another P5 job and kill it.

Posting here but ND really really needs to extend Freeman now. I can see OSU firing Day and offering MF $250M for 10 years to come home.

Purdue fired Walters. Not surprising

Neal brown got got

It's crazy that I'll always know him as shark ****er even though that wasnt him in the picture. World is a cruel place.

Jimbo to wvu? People are asking

Oh damn, FSU killing it with these coordinator hires. Just poached Tony White from Corn along with their top position coach (DL). He inherited the 91st rated FEI D and had them 19th and 18th the past 2 seasons.

Malzahn was meh as a HC, but he absolutely crushed as an OC when he just had to worry about calling plays.

Malzahn will be fine as OC. Cant get any worse than what you had, right? Hope fsu has rb depth because he likes to run RBs into the ground

I would add that Malzahn's offense requires a true dual threat QB to be effective. You also need to have a defense that is good enough and deep enough to allow the offense to play up tempo in spurts.

Ordinarily I would say that talent is not a problem for FSU, but it will be interesting to see how the new 105 man roster cap affects depth. I mean it's not a super tight cap like the NFL, but you can't just stash an infinite number of "walk ons" (scholly paid via NIL).

(from ESPN)

Florida Atlantic has hired Texas Tech offensive coordinator Zach Kittley as its next head coach, the school announced Monday.

The 33-year-old is now the youngest head coach in the FBS

FAU was apparently looking really hard at Charlie Weis Jr.

Drat!

Maybe someone else will pick him up.
