John, if you haven't, you should watch the very entertaining movie about that match, starring Steve Carrell and Emma Stone. It's quite goof. But for the life of me, I can't remember the name lol.

Easy question. The acid you are dropping is too speedy, and you are cutting it with beer. Try rolling a few B-52s instead.

are you talking about when you feel like you need to pee but then you go to pee and there's no pee to be had?

and then you leave the bathroom and feel like you need to pee again?

that's almost as bad as the first week of your life experiencing the post void drip - couldn't wear khakis for a while until i trained myself to discard 30 years of muscle memory of "ok i'm done peeing i can put it away now" to throroughly and methodically draining that hose and getting every last drop out first so there's no surprises

lol...no, when I pee while high it feels like I'm standing there forever...peeing. Like, I'll come back into the living room and ask my GF, "how long was I gone?" And she'll say, "two hours." Obviously messing with me, but it DOES feel like a long time.

lol that's just getting old. I don't mean that.

so do any of you old guys like "younger generation" stuff, like influencers or youtube channels or anything? I'm a big fan of Mr. Beast. His channel is enormously entertaining.

I also enjoy watching young people react to older movies and music.

i'm not a fan of his content but really admire his work ethic

a lot of people don't understand all the stuff happening behind the scenes and all the work put in and that while a bunch of them may have has risen by happenstance, most worked relentlessly to get there

he has his schedule planned out over a year in advance and has a huge team working under him because a lot of the stuff they do takes months of preparation and planning

Work ethic is tremendously overrated. Think like the Irish; they just drink and fall down trying to stagger home. A much more useful way to live.

I like Meditations for the Anxious Mind. A guy named Frankie is like some sort of Irish cultural critic who simply makes observations, such as Americans Who Think They're Irish.

I don't like those "somebody reacts to Dream On for the first time" stuff because I doubt they're hearing it for the first time. Now if they're 75 year olds reacting to Jelly Roll for the first time,that might be entertaining.

i really don't understand the popularity of reaction videos

like maybe if it's an established thought leader then sure, hearing eminem's take on some indian rap could be interesting, but hearing some 7th grade chorus teacher's reaction to hearing metallica "for the first time" is just dumb

it's also all fan service, they know that the people watching are not fans of them but rather fans of what they are reacting to, so everything is full of praise and wow factor - no, if your favorite singers are beyonce and taylor swift and james taylor, you're going to be "blown away" by system of a down

lol you're not wrong, but I still enjoy it. I just like watching young people react to the music and movies that wowed me when I was their age.

I also only follow music reactors who actually know something about music - are musicians themselves, etc. Not just randoms saying, "wow, David Bowie is kinda cool."
