This is exactly how I always picture John Cole. Sometimes with a beret, sometimes with an ascot, but always this.

Stand in front of a mirror and practice saying, "Cole. John Cole."

You'll thank me later.

we all know john cole is an ascot, but why do you beret him?

Because while we know, does he know?

toque, eh

Weird little things happen. The other night I dreamt I was standing across from someone (couldn't see the face), and we were both juggling. The next morning I get an email reminding me I had to attend a party for our administrative assistant. The email said there will be karaoke and juggling.

I do know how to juggle, but I no longer have the coordination.

I can juggle and balance things on my nose...but not at the same time anymore

Mr. Baseball's team is heading for the worst record of all time.

No wonder he drinks every Friday although I don't believe we got the usual Friday report.

Yes, they are quite historically bad. I had a few beers on Friday but not out of hand. I even had to watch a little of the game that night as I had bet on the Brewers -1.5 runs and I was sweating it for a second. Sox took a 5-4 lead in the 5th but I had faith. They ended up losing 12-5 so my faith (or lack there of) in them paid off 😀 I can't watch them but I am having very enjoyable and successful baseball season so far as my handicapping system has been better than usual and its usually pretty good.

I too can juggle. Takes about a week to learn.

As long as they don't start calling it an admin party, right?

which adapter should i use again?

The one that controls muscle memory.

important question
do you consider hacky sack foot juggling

No. Learn with tennis balls or don't bother.

good to know ivan lendl found a life outside of tennis

The guy who'd give up all other titles for one Wimbledon win.

Is everywhere inundated with Cicadas? Or is it just the midwest? I don't get the point. They pop up every 17 years, make a lot of noise for a few weeks, lay some eggs I'm guessing and then die and show up again 17 years later. Most stuff in nature makes sense but I can't figure these suckers out?

There are millions of them everywhere around here and the roar of noise they make is astounding even if you don't see 'em.

Ugly bastards too! Went on a camera safari the other day with my macro lens.

It's hard not to love cicadas.

It took me two and a half hours to learn. I just stood there trying until I could do it.

It also took me the same time to learn how to tie a bow tie. (I don't wear a bow tie , but I did wear one to honor my colleague at his funeral. He wore one every day.)

A month and a half without driving. I sat in the car last night with the engine running for ten minutes and resisted the urge to go out for a spin.

Pro tip, don't do that in the garage with the door closed 😀

Unfortunately or fortunately, the apartment doesn't come with a garage.

Sometimes I wish I lived in a city where I could use public transportation to get somewhere, but it's too beautiful where I live to move.

some said one grove town calls louder than six combustible pistons
yet the still sound of a dam river is chosen over another london drinking song
kinder on the ears and likely within biking distance
