The great TV Theme Collective...
Post up your favorite old timely, or modern, TV show Themes.
Specially those that have long been forgotten... They don't write them like they used to.
They used to use really great session musicians and wonderful song writers with fully fleshed out Orchestration...
Beautiful...
First I'll limit my choices to underrated/forgotten ones from the 60s and 70s:
High Chaparral
The Virginian
Mannix
Barnaby Jones
But my all-time favorite has to be The Bob Newhart Show, where it eases off at the last to represent his arrival back home each night. Hill Street Blues was very good too.
edit: forgot about Branded from even earlier, so dramatic!
you should post them up so we can hear them...

Some of you might know this one.

Note sure if this counts, since it's from the movie, and the TV series only used an instrumental.
Classic Jerry Goldsmith Style...
Absolutely period correct Lalo Schifrin composition...
Of course... I grew up on this and it represented about 90% of my viewing habits in the 1960's
Speed Racer spurred my thoughts to Jonny Quest. Another great theme, the drummer is doing great work in this one.
This is the second best:
and this is the best (imo)
But there's also this...
