TV: what have you been watching?
I think The Walking Dead may be the best drama thats currently airing/in production.
There, I said it.
Rewatched Secrets of the Octopus, really good, easily one of my favourite nature documentaries. Everything about them is so crazy.
Can change to different shapes of rocks or animals, instantly to the perfect colour to blend in (even though they're thought to be colourblind), learn to use tools and take them with them to use later, which only humans, chimps, and crows do. They learn all this on their own as the mother dies after giving birth, then they only live three years. Aliens!
yeah, this is great
Documentary about the 2003 and 2004 playoffs between the Yankees and Red Sox. 2004 was the year the Sox, down three games to zero, came back to win four straight and their first World Series in 86 years.
After the World Series win, my dad said now I can die a happy man. He would die on June 5th the next year as a happy man.

This week we get a 10-part Day of the Jackal remake with Eddie Remayne in the title role.
More excited for the Say Nothing series this week, based on a wonderful, chilling non-fiction book about the IRA Troubles in N. Ireland in 1972 about a mother of 10 who 'disappears,' and what happens decades later when her fate is revealed.

As a Cubs fan, the Red Sox were my AL team for obvious reasons. That roster had some really great characters, and going against that stacked Yankees team made it even cooler. Easily the best baseball series I've ever seen and likely ever will. Me and my roommate went to the bar to watch every game. I remember how exciting games 4-7 were. It's a magical sport, and it's great that your dad got to see them win.
No comments on YELLOWSTONE?
It was ok, but I thought Jamie and whats-her-name were plotting to kill Beth not John...
The West Wing
Even if it's fiction, it makes me feel better.

Most overrated show ever.
Also, one of my buddies from middle school sent them a spec script and they hired him.
Afterwards, he won an Oscar.
The world is funny sometimes.
It's all fiction, of course, but I'd say that House of Cards is closer to reality than The West Wing.
Currently I'd say Veep is the most accurate...
Day of the Jackal has a few good scenes, but it's way too stupid, and actually rather dull for the most part. Also, as much as I think Redmayne is an overrated actor, the main black chick is absolutely awful...she has the emotional range of a cardboard box. I'm kinda surprised by the mostly positive reviews this seems to be getting.
My friend I visited hasn’t seen Arrested Development, so I showed him an episode and I ended up rewatching a bunch with him
It gets even better every time I rewatch it, I guess some say there are “better” comedies out there but it’s definitely the funniest show I’ve ever seen, nothing comes close

marry me!
We're about 5 episodes into a couple of shows.
The Diplomat This is as good as TV gets. A++. Great characters, great writing, great acting. Just great.
Silo The opposite of the above. Probably won't watch much more of it.
