I wasn't going to click this, but I'm really glad I did. Never heard of them. They are great.

Buncha guys screwing around in the 70s.

Great!!! Was that Doug Kershaw on the fiddle?

Maybe this really isn't a cover although Judy Collins did record it first. I love this second version by Joni Mitchell, years after she recorded the first version. Her voice is informed by age and the knowledge that comes with age, maybe even a kind of wisdom.

This is a pretty good cover, but I have to admit that the main reason I love this is the unreal gorgeous girl in the Mötley Crüe t-shirt.

"I Don't Need No Doctor" is an R&B song written by
Nick Ashford, Valerie Simpson, and Jo Armstead.
First released by Ashford on Verve in August 1966.

That was very moving, at least to me. It seems somewhat bittersweet; which makes it all the more poignant.

I find this a very polarizing song. Singing it at the poker table after inflicting a bad beat on some one can produce wildly varying results,

With Lou Reed's look at the end: A+++

I like this version. I'm not sure he's happy at how good Bowie does this.
