Teaching English as a Foreign Language
I just graduated from college in June and thought that I would be going immediately to graduate school but decided that I'm not ready for that. I've always wanted to travel around in either Asia or South America and feel like I'm nearing the end of my opportunity to do something like that.
I feel like graduate school would be entrapping to me because afterwards I would have enough debt to where I would feel it necessary to get a job and obviously once my career is started I don't want to put it on hold for a year or two to travel.
Has anyone ever tried teaching English as a foreign language before? If you have any advice or tips I would absolutely love to hear it. I am trying to apply to Beijing and Shanghai, although apparently most schools start in September so I'm a little late. If that doesn't work I'll be trying somewhere in South America.
