WSOPC 2024-2025 …Again. North East is left out !!
The Schedule is out for WSOP Circuit events for 2024-2025.
For some mysterious reason North East is again left out !!
One of the biggest Market (New Jersey,New York , Maryland, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Connecticut ) has no circuit stop !!
Covid has long gone ! WSOP 2024 ME has a record breaking attendance.
For unknown mysterious reason WSOP has ignored once again 2nd most lucrative market ( California/ Nevada is No. 1).
* One more observation. It’s not only WSOP ! Since MGM took over Borgata , even Borgata’s Poker events seems like not a priority to the MGM management!!
Is this indicate anything? Is there collective effort by Las Vegas Casino companies to protect Las Vegas Market ?
Any thoughts or logical explanation ?
Pennsylvania &
New Jersey are Northeast states as per :
Google , Mapquest, Wikipedia, Amazone Distribution Centers,
The US Census Bureau . Etc
For my purposes I will believe them .
If any reason someone thinks they are not North east states , it doesn’t make any difference.
Department of Labor takes it down to include Virginia and West Virginia
Don't they charge a small fortune to come to your venue? Maybe nobody thought it was worth it.

I think they do.
Anyhow, like most things in MA, it’s probably further away than one would hope, and may just be a pipe dream… but if Encore Boston Harbor eventually really gets back in the poker game, a WPT association would be very natural. And if that comes to pass, I can’t imagine the WSOP would allow them to be the only game in the region. So, perhaps the thing which would get the WSOP back into the heart of the northeast would be their competitor making the first move.
WSOP Circuit in Montreal Starts August 19th. That IS the Northeast.
Northeast means within 5 hour drive from NYC ldo
Alaska is part of the Northeast ? Wow, I knew I shouldn't have skipped my 3rd grade Geography class!
Alaska is an island in the Pacific. Haven't you ever seen a map of the U.S.?
