How are deposits/winnings returned if player is absent?
Deposits are emptied from players' accounts following the conclusion of WSOP. They are returned in the method the deposit was made. Should a player no longer be present in the venue due to plane schedules and the player had only deposited in cash, will WSOP attempt to contact the player to give the money back? Or do they just keep the money?

Assuming you are referring to a WSOP Tournament Account (the old PARIS TBIC ACCOUNT) and not the new Bravo / Payfiniti TBIC.
The Cage will empty - close your account-- and pay you the balance upon your request while you are still in Las Vegas BEFORE the end of the series.
It has been my experience that for moderately small amounts (Thousands) they will just give you cash on the spot even if you had wired funds to establish the account originally.
With Paris NOT accepting wires this year only Cash and approved Cashiers checks I SUSPECT but do NOT know for sure that they will give you Cash back at your request. Whether they have a maximum amount I have no idea.
To get a definitive answer I suggest you EMAIL
