WSOP $1,000 Mystery Millions
Last 2 years this popular event brought

2023. 18188 Players
Any guess what WSOP has to add t
Day 1B got 1837 entries.
1A plus 1B = 3166.
Going to need 15000 the next 3 flights to get even.
Wow, they knocked out a lot of people in one day. I might have to re-think playing this one.
5% of the field, same structure its been. Since it plays 22 x 30 min levels. Very typical of any tournament that plays this many levels to play down to this many. In fact, its a little higher because people are smarter now and they know that making day 2 is worth a lot now.
Am I correct that $1000 entry fee distributed as following:
$300 Bounty Pool.
$580 Prize Pool.
$84. Tournament fee.
$36. Staff & Dealer fee
———
$1000
Yes same as last year but the app doesn't show it the same way as bravo did.
Bravo simply said prizepool is $880.
WSOP+ says prizepool is $916*
*fees deducted. Very misleading.
Also as we've learned from last year, adding an extra flight only adds a very small percentage of a field. Since the extra flight is on a weekday and it just let's the pros/regs fire another one. So probably only 10% more if that.

I am not that optimistic! The way treand is , looks like even with the added day 1E either we will be very close to last year attendance figure (18409 ) or more probably short by 100-300 players.

All these factors plus wise counsel from DogFace in the other thread led me to skip this one, especially because I don't have a room for this weekend and would need to buy one. There are plenty of other tournaments to throw away my money on, Colossal, Monster, Salute, $600 Deepstack, Seniors, Millimaker ......
I just binked a $135 landmark satellite into this thing. Iβll be playing tomorrow morning. Itβll be a busy field but filled mostly with recs and degens firing their last bullet to enter.
For those who have already played, does the field seem pretty soft?
How did you find out about the satellite? I didn't see any signage about it.
They have them listed in the app. Called βlandmark satellites.β For this one, it was $135 buy in, you start with 10, 000 chips, 15 minute levels, and if/when you hit 100, 000 in chips, you get a ticket to the $1, 000 Mystery Millions. I think I was the second person to get a ticket because people played it like a normal tournament and not the turbo satellite it actually was. Aggression worked well.
They have other ones at various price points, too. Pretty sure they have a couple everyday.

Oh, "the app". Too bad for me.
