Structure is not on the website yet 😀

One of the best series in the northeast, I'm ready.

Yea I’m going based off what is was in the past. 40k stack and 40 min levels- I assume starts at 100-100. By far best structure and nice it’s a 3 day tourny. I wish they would run the $400 or $550 Buy in point bc I feel those bring in the most players (+ a lot of fools will blast away 5-6 bullets in the type of tourny where one should only fire 1-2 bullets a day max: I’m fine with 2 in a day if an early cooler happens). Say what you want but if you are firing 5-6 bullets at a tourny with such a solid structure: you prolly are doing something wrong early.

Yes you are correct that $400-$500 is the point to attract tons of players.

After Covid it’s hard to find any tournaments in north east. I am looking forward to it.

I will definitely play one or 2 event.

It’s only 1 hour drive so very convenient.

I still don’t see the structure are posted .

Please let us know if and when posted . Thx

I don’t think links worked online when they ran a tournament last summer. My guess is it starts at 100-100 and has all of the normal levels. Probably the best structure you will find for buyin level in the northeast honestly.

I could be wrong about structure but I assume it’s going to be same to past for big stax- I would look at pokernews reporting website etc if you want to see structure- just look at past years and I’m guessing it’s the same. I find it odd the link isn’t working on the website- kinda bad to have a tourny and not show a structure sheet.

If what you are saying is true that means crows are black everywhere!!
Shame on management!!

It's a great venue and getting better all the time. Looking forward to more BIG STAX events.

Kevin,

I will be definitely playin Big Stax $750.

Either through satty or if not that lucky buying in to it .

Any other 2+2’rs playing the event ?

I kinda wanna go bc Parx is prolly my favorite place to play (in the northeast) but will probably skip it bc I’m playing less tournies due to gf. Gf wants a ring this year so prolly shouldn’t spew money on tournies.

As for structure- poker atlas says it starts at 100-100 and antes start level 2. If it has level 2 as 100-100 with 100bba, insane structure especially with 45 min levels. 60min levs on day 2 and I think it goes to 90 min on day 3.
By far best structure- if you don’t mind playing 2-3 days, it’s a sick structure for buy in level. Def recommend it to anyone that thinks they have a skill edge in live tournies (most 2+2ers) bc you can be super patient and find good spots.

Any idea how late their multi day tournaments run? I live just under an hour away and am thinking about playing, but not getting a room near the casino. Wondering if that's feasible if I make a day 2

I am planning to play Big Stac $750 on day 1C ( Saturday)
As per their website 3rd and final day is Monday.

I also live an hour away !!!

An hour away is not a problem. Start times the second day will be reasonable. I'm 35 min. away and would not dream of staying in a hotel.

it absolutely is better than usual for these price points. no question. i can ee this tourney being 2x bigger 2-3 years from now too

still sucks its 95% holdem events tho.

if you live an hour away I dont think there is an incorrect decision wether to stay or drive the 2 hour tehre nad back tbh

Not sure but I assume it runs fairly late. I think you would be fine at an hour drive. Only annoying thing about this tourny is it’s 3 days. Think you would want to just get a hotel room if you make day 3 as to not have to worry about travel before a big day 3. Super long tourny- 3 days is a haul.

Def would recommend going. Hour isn’t a bad ride for a tourny with this structure.

Never played big staxx, can we reg in day 2 or you must show up day 1 and bag?
