WSOPC Woodbine (Toronto) April 10 - 22
They have announced the schedule. Mostly small buy-in events. Last year most of the events sold out. They had crazy waitlist of alternates for the smaller buy-in events. I am sure this year they will get even more people.
It is smart that they made some tournaments have more than one starting flight.

Any word on:
- on sale date?
- when GG sattys will start?
- cap sizes?
No info yet on sale date or Satty's.
I would imagine the cap will be similar to last year. They haven't made additional space for the tournament (yet). There are a few events that have multiple starting days.
Hoping they have online satties to more than just one event this year.
The thing about space is that Woodbine is part of the Great Canadian group, so there's no reason they couldn't spread events or flights across multiple casino locations. Maybe that's the plan for the future depending on demand.
They are using the third floor to hold the tournaments so it will be confusing for everyone, however, they will have a PLO tournament - I just hope that they have enough dealers that know how to deal them!
I have to say, they really have no clue how to run a tournament at woodbine.
The dealers are the smallest problem. The floor has no idea what itβs doing. They color up on breaks and there are at least 2 or 3 players who are missing a significant amount of chips.
The is a 1.5 hr delay to start day 2 with everyone sitting in their seat and the floor bringing people their chips, one by one.
When you ask about breaks, if you ask different floor people, you will get different answers.
They screwed up payouts for Day1. They took players information because βthey might have cashedβ even though money bubble was set at 15%.
Poorly run all around.
