Stake.com Froze My Account After KYC – Holding Over $26K
Iβm making this post out of frustration and concern for others.
I had been playing on Stake.com casually for a while. No issues. But as soon as I completed their KYC verification β full ID, proof of address, source of crypto funds β my account was blocked without any warning.
They are currently holding $26,370 USDT and refusing to process a withdrawal or even give a reason for the block. The message simply says that Iβve violated their terms, but wonβt say how. Iβve combed through the terms and nothing applies.
This is looking more and more like a scam tactic: collect KYC, seize funds, and cut off communication. Be careful.

Just use no KYC next time. For example at playnokyc, they have better options...
- 1. What did you provide as identification? Was it genuine, your own and not manipulated?
- 2. What was your gambling activity?
- 3. Have you gone to your region's regulator?
Sounds tough. Next time, I would try playing on regulated sites, and make sure you handle KYC before anything else
Hope you get sorted, I agree with Norwich that it is better if players verify ID and do KYC on registration. I don't have to do the KYC in Ireland currently but I have always verified my ID on registration and never had complications on any site.
If the site won't play ball and you have done nothing wrong then the regulator is an option. Most sites have a complaints procedure somewhere on their site.
