Travelling to South America

Was going to go to Mexico for SCOOP but as it's kicking off might go to Brazil or Argentina instead. As a tourist do you have to pay tax on gambling winnings in either of these countires? Have tried to Google but can't find a clear answer. Also if anyone has any recommendations on where to stay in any of these places let me know, thanks.
