Warning - Don't Use Turo [They are running intentional scams]

Paid for a car rental and declined their protection plan because I checked w/ my insurance company (state farm) to ensure they covered Turo and was affirmed.

Paid the amount w/o the coverage, got an email receipt w/ the amount I paid. It was a non-refundable trip after 24 hours.

1 day later, an additional charge of $375 for their protection plan (which I'm told is a whole other scam in itself) on my CC. I contacted Turo support and asked them about this, and they gave me a long song and dance about how the trip is non-refundable, etc... when I told them I had an email and screenshots w/ the amounts I agreed to and paid, they suddenly changed their tune.

However, after multiple calls to customer support, continually getting the runaround, and being transferred to people who never pick up, I never received a refund. I had to end up contacting my bank.

TOTAL INTENTIONAL FRAUD GOING ON HERE. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. YOU ARE WARNED.
