MGM Springfield (Springfield, MA)
It opened up today. Poker room is beautiful. More to come!
The entry points to the railing are roughly at the four corners of the large square box that is the main gaming floor, one by the garage, one by the hotel, one by the food court, and one by the Italian restaurant near the sports book.
And don’t mess with the gate near the bathrooms right outside the poker room, the alarm will sound!
Just wanted to say that twice this month, I've attempted to get their rewards tier match since I have a Soar card at Mohegan, which is supposed to entitle me to 3 months at platinum. This is offered until 10/30/25 per their website. Both times I went to the cage, including today, the person I asked to get the rewards program said they don't do that anymore, and that it would end on 10/30/25 anyways (even though the site explicitly says end of January, 2026). So basically, just getting the run around because I'm sure this is costing them more money than they anticipated. I drove an hour total both ways each time just to get shafted.
So I wanted to let anyone know that may be trying to do this to not bother. It's bad business practice to offer something on your site and deny it to people when they apply in person. I literally showed the person the website, she read it, and said there's nothing she could do (not her fault, and I dropped it, but still). The poker room is festering with nits too, even the 5/10 game. Just zero reason to go there if you live anywhere near near Encore, MS, FW, Twin River, or even Resort's World. Guarantee this place gets sold or closed by 2030. Hopefully closed, with all of the BS promises MGM provided the city and reneged on, they deserve to take a hit, unfortunately it will be at the expense of the locals.
tier match ended 9/30/25. I do it every year when they bring it back. it's over this year.
