The cardrooms in Portland, OR don’t have rake. Just a $20 daily membership fee.

It’s mostly just $1/$2 though, and not 24/7.

Outside of the poker "clubs" where you can pay daily or hourly, the lowest rake I have seen is in Vegas, somehow. A lot of the places still do 10% up to $5 with a $1 promo drop. Feels like a relic of the past, unfortunately.

You play at MGM Springfield, right? Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods have similar rake structures (10% up to $6) but they only take $1 for the promo, as opposed to $3. I guess in theory, that $3 comes back to the players, but I have always preferred paying less for the promo, even if it comes at the expense of some excitement. The MGM Springfield NFL promos are legitimately pretty crazy, though.

EDIT: The CT casinos also have the best comps (typically $2/hr, but sometimes doubled or tripled, which you can use for food, gas, sundries, etc.) that I have encountered, which isn't nothing. I also made a huge AP slots play a few months ago and have been getting a few comped hotel rooms every month every since.

Pacific NW, a handful of Midwest casinos, and tribals/thread.
