Westgate Poker Room
Wanted to ask if the hourly promo is every month and didn't find a thread.
Anybody know? I'm looking to grind a month or 2 than head out Vegas if yes.

Westgate is a gorgeous casino with a very good cafe restaurant. The poker on the other hand is atrocious. Typically one or two tables full of regulars who loathe putting in $7 preflop.
Thanks Tuma... I'm grinding micros and seen for 45 hours you get $350 so was real excited but was wondering if that promo is every month or not?
Thanks

Is this the casino that regularly plays all kinds of weird variants? I think it's a room that caters to old time poker regs to have fun, banter and play fun variants.
Also it's v low stakes, I got the impression that these guys would play high stakes on other casinos.
Would not recommend grinding here, unless you are an 8 game player who specializes in weird variants.
Or just play some chill 1/2, or micro without expectations of winning, just chat and meet some people.
I didn't play there, just walked through the casino once, a lot of cool things to look at. IIRC the poker room was really big and looked very nice, but barely any people playing.
I worked as a dealer there last year for a couple months while I was in between jobs. In one instance I was handling a large, somewhat complicated pot and one of the players who had recently left had been logged in for about 27 seconds too long. This is when the female supervisor Liza came up behind me, grabbed my arm and jerked it around to push the buttons to sign out the player. I reported this incident to the highest levels of management and despite a phone call with HR and a written statement emailed to them, nothing was done as I continued to work with this person for a month with no changes.
It was only when I had quit and cited this incident as the reason for quitting when the boss of the poker room manager called me and gave me my last 2 weeks paid which I suppose was a nice gesture. No idea if they ever disciplined her.
Wouldn't recommend playing here at all unless you appreciate supervisors that assault their employees without consequence.

Check PokerAtlas for the promo details. It's a weekly promo. 45 hours from Monday to Monday gets you $350. Or 25 hours in 7 days gets you $150. It's a preflop foldfest in the afternoons. Late evenings it loosens up a little bit.

Unless they want to get fired, no employee is going to "jerk your arm around" in front of a table full of witnesses. Management obviously checked the camera and probably saw that it wasn't as serious as you state. You state that she wasn't disciplined, but you don't even know that. Discipline write-ups are a private matter, not for other employees to be informed of. The reason they asked for your written statement was to include it in her discipline write-up in her file. If they hadn't disciplined her, then the casino opens itself up for liability. A write-up for a minor offense is usually not going to demote someone from their position or get them fired as you wanted to have happen. It takes multiple, minor repeat offenses for that to happen.
Is it $1/$2 or $1/$3?
Thanks.
