Rivers Casino (Pittsburgh, PA)
i just came back from the grand opening of the slots-only Rivers Casino on the North Side. its really nice and only expected the 3000 slots as PA isnt licensed for table games.
Walking thru the casino, i saw a roulette table w a video screen table and video terminals to place the bets and the same type of table w blackjack w video dealers! (seen some of these in vegas too) awesome! $10 minimum and there was only a few ppl playing but all 3k slots were occupied. weird. +200 tho!
seems like a loophole as they are table games just w/o the table imo. rumor has it that they have a whole floor ready for BJ/roulette/poker when/if the law gets passed.
could pokertek electronic poker tables like in the Excalibur be next and what would be stopping them?

Have an opportunity to go to Pittsburgh for a business trip - are the cash games fun enough here to justify coming down?
It's a good room with good action. Although I haven't played in there in a decade cos I work there lol. I see that it's busy though. I miss playing there tbh. Thursdays are the best high hand promos.
How many average runners for the Saturday Deep Stacks, anyone know?
Thank you, sir! I used to frequent Rivers back in the day, it's been a good 10 years since I have been there. Be there Saturday!
I will be in town for Thanksgiving and wondering if PLO has a chance to run the Friday after Thanksgiving? Thank you.
What was the crowd like this past weekend of the return of the PPO?

I heard they had 407 for the opening weekend event.
