Bay 101 Casino (San Jose, CA)
I was thinking it's time we have a thread dedicated to the most popular casino in the San Francisco Bay Area. What I really like about Bay is how clean and well-lit the poker floor is, compared to some others in the area. What annoys me the most is San Jose's $200 max bet rule, which means that true NL can't be played and we have the spread-limit structure instead.
To start off with some gossip, I've heard that the $10-200 has stopped running regularly now with some of the regulars having moved to garden city. Can someone confirm/deny? Any particular reason why?

Yeah a friend went there recently and said the structure of games had been changed. He said there's also a 15/30.
does 1/2/3 and 2/3/5 NLHE run daily at all hours? anyone know the rake or hourly fee?

At Bay 101 they only have the 2/3/5 all the time and usually one table of a bigger game. The drop is $7 plus $1 for jackpot, all taken out on the flop.
If there is a chop or everyone foldd to a preflop raise they still take $1+$1.
They have the smaller 1/2/3 NL game at Casino Matrix which is practically across the street.
Think I'm going to be passing through in a few days time (on my way to family christmas)
We don't have legal poker in my state (Utah) so was thinking of stopping in for a few hours and playing a few hands
Any PLO in this part of the world?
I don't remember seeing any PLO games in my two visits to Bay 101 this year. Only non-holdem has been limit O8.

You’ll drive through Reno. Peppermill usually has 1/2 PLO with a $5 bring in on weekends. Also a mixed PLO/Big O on the schedule.
